High, Wide & Heavy is a full service escort/pilot car and permit service. We have the experience and knowledge to get your load to its destination quickly and safely.
We preform ALL NYC route surveys, as mandated by NYC DOT. We survey the routes ourselves to make certain that there are no mistakes. The escort vehicles that we hire within NYC are also highly experienced and trained by us directly.
We do provide escort/pilot cars outside of NYC & NYS, our over the road escorts will go anywhere any time. We do provide NYS route surveys, for the entire state, if it is not geographically possible for us to run the survey we hire only the best to run them.
We are as dedicated to getting your load to its destination as you are. Our office managed by Kim is very efficient and prompt. We are one of only a few permit services with access to the new NYC DOT online service for O/D permit applications. With this new service we can turn a NYC permit application around within hours. We are also an online service for NYS Special Hauling Division and with NYS Thruway Authority. We can process I84 through route permits online as well.
We will soon be accepting applications for New Jersey, Pennsylvania & Connecticut. We can provide route surveys for these states also.
